Anyone recommend the best place to mount a 10 disk cd changer?
Wont fit underseat or glove box & with being hatchback cant hang from parcel shelf.
Thought about boot floor but hoping to avoid that as good chance of getting damaged.

Mine was in the boot floor until i dropped a tree trunk on it and smashed it. you could fasten it to the back of the seats upright of course depends on wether it will jump the laser when you are driving or you could mod it and locate it in the glovebox if it will fit depends if you use it or not.

Would have thought the best place was o/s wing area in boot aft of the wheel arch and fix it vertcally. Unless ya have plans to build in a sub there.

Yeah, think I'll go with the above wheel arch & mount it vertically.
Looks like I'll need to put the sub plans on hold now.......

I've got mine horizontal on the boot floor. I've put velcro strips on the bottom instead of screws. This keeps it in place no probs and i can just whip it out in seconds if i'm transporting anything that's likley to damage it.

Got a Sony 6 cd changer which fits perfectly in the boot on the left hand side before the wheel arch...just needed to take out the metal bracket for the optional first aid kit and warning triange. Doesnt interfere with the load space at all

Mine is a standard fit from VW , and that is mounted on the front of the boot space against the metal work . [Proper pain it is as well ]

where would you put an amp(s)?
under the seats, in the boot?
i have an alpine unit to go in some where to power some speakers, and possibly another to power a sub...
