Decent smoked rear lights?

Does anybody know who makes/where I can buy some good quality smoked rear lights for my mk2?
The ones I've found on the awesome-gti website look a bit nasty to me, the ones on the swg site are a bit pricey.
I want quite a dark lens (about as dark as the top half of the standard half smoked unit).

I thought the ones he bought were crystal lamps weren't they?

Oh ! dunno then, maybe they weren't smoked after all !? Oh well, his lights looked good though and I'm sure the same firm will do smoked so might be worth a try anyway, or go for crystals instead
