I was told 5-10 days to ship so you never know.
I guess it also depends what port its coming in at. iirc they said there was 3 main ones they use. Tyne, Grimsby, and the other one thats down south :embarassed: For some odd reason mines coming in at Grimsby then been transported all that way down south!

When the dealer emailed me the order, it said mine would be landing at Grimbsy as well.. Dunno if VW's knowledge of the UK is as good as it should be

I'll be chasing my dealer on Tuesday/Wednesday for an update on my bw07.  I really hope it doesnt slip any further.

My dealer seems to have given up the ghost with regular updates but last thing I knew, mine was due in the same week as yours. I have a bad feeling it won't be but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed I get that call this week as well

I can say this now as its come to that time but a plan was to hold till this point  Why you may ask, well i have more leaverage on a dealer who cannot change the spec to pass it to another client and has a car in an odd spec coming in. So even if i had still been messed about i would probably made it to this point.

So here I am at home, the Mrs is cooking the Sunday roast beef, I'm watching the telly.  I get a phonecall on my mobile.  Its the number for Haywards Heath Caffyns.  (strange on a Sunday I think to myself, although they are open on Sunday) - It was my salesman.  He was just checking another customers Golf R order, and that order had slipped back to April!  He thought that he'd best check my order as it is still the oldest order on their system, and to check that it hadnt slipped as well.

It hadnt.  Its gone CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!  BW07!!!!!!!!!1shift+1

Just an update; ordered a GTD on 29th August, just been given a Fiesta Zetec TDCI until the 28th February free of charge.Expect this to be extened until the end of March when the car is expected. That will make it 30 weeks since order....impressed with the Fiesta for what it is....

I hope its bloody quicker than the 1.4fsi golf theyve lent me.  Its so slow.
