I was thinking maybe we should also have a list below the order list of our specs?
That way if theres a pattern of a certain item delaying things even further it may show up?
What you guys think?

It might be better to show a little table of the extras down the side, and the orderers along the top, then at a glance we could see the most popular options.

cheers for the insurance info boys! i might just do that when i know delivery dates! it gives me time to arrange for my new car to go on my insurance policy, as i am trading my old one in, and was unsure how i get insured for both cars on the same day.

the table above looks good mate.

my xtra's are: 18 inch monza's, deep black pearl, leather seats, RCD510 + DAB (i think that is it - its been that long, ive nearly forgot! haha!  )

Just called my dealer as its Tuesday..... 

Shifted to Week 07 (w/b Feb 15th 2010) - I'll be lucky to get it for a March 1st "new reg day" at this rate.  Oh well, at least my annual leave days reset at the end of Feb, so I can take a nice chunk of time out to enjoy it.

So *IF* it gets a confirmed build for that week, with a 2-3 week deliver to the dealer, my total wait time would be just over 8 months!!

Sheesh- what a kick in the kn*ckers.. sorry to hear that 

Snoopy- The spec of my order is 3 dr, manual, 18", ACC, xenon, leather, RCD510 with DAB and dynoaudio, parking sensors, luxury park and shadow blue metallic. It'll be interesting to see if there is a trend- I'm thinking if you've ordered a golf with 4 wheels, you're kinda in trouble...
