urgent help needed.. tint residue removal

hi, i yhave just taken the tint film off my car an now i am left with the sticky residue, anybody here know how i can remove it? at the moment it is smudged all over my windows!!..

Acetone and a clean rag - will take care of it in minutes.

You can get it from anywhere that sells fibreglass supplies.

You didn't say it had to be today!

Go to boots and buy some nail varnish remover with the highest content of acetone in it if you urgently need to remove it.

Try solvent cleaner (everbuilds the best), can be found in most diy shops or online.

I work for a sealed glass unit supplier and we use it on our glass to remove stickers, ingrained dirt etc.

Its fantastic stuff but dont get any on your paintwork!

just went to the spar and bought some nail varnish remover.. just gonna let it soak for a bit and see how it goes...
