read all the link posted but it seems to recommend more an oil brand called Fuchs never heard of them till now?? this oil stuff is now very confusing lol

most likely but I wouldn't bother.  Why pay £40 when the £10 Fabia ones do exactly the same job 

Fuchs tend to be what VW's are filled from the factory with.  I found using Fuchs though that I need to top up between services.  Using Quantum at the moment and the last two services I've not needed to top up so I'd go with that

Ive also used Fuchs oil once and had to top up after 6k, not had to with the quantum
