hi guys just a quick update on the chin spoiler.
As i said i did the swap over in the dark after work with a wind up torch lol that kept going dim after a couple of minutes so i had to giv myself w@nker5 cramp winding it back up again lol (bad idea) anyway i took off the the old rubish looking chin and set about putting on the new one, after i got my head under i had about an inch to move around under there and get my arms under lol not to mention i was on the main road with cars and lorrys flying past every 2 seconds. it was a proper b!tch to take off probably because it had been fitted over 10 years ago and never been touched sinse then. but fitting the new one was easy!!!! just put it in place and push it on, making sure then clips snap in properly.
After it all, it is well worth doing because it looks so much cooler than the standard one (that is still stuffed in my boot lol)
one thing though, theres a peice of plastic that runs from the wheel arch to the front chin, make sure you screw, stick or whatever you want that peice of plastic back to the chin otherwise it flaps around when you drive lol i found this out the hard way after
sh%#ing myself half way down my road when it sounded like i'd run over someone over lol
cheers for the help
