this afternoon i opened my bonnet to find my k&n filter had come off.... and it was stitting on the inner wing!
its hit the alternator and its put to slight scrapes in it but its put a few holes in it!
this must have happened last night when i was racing a merc... i wondered why i was keeping up with it!
i didnt think it would run without a filter on it but it does!
the k&n is a bin job and there ?80 new.........
so ive tried to get an air box!
i was concidering going back to the box as the k&n kepts getting very dirty quickly!
ive managed to get a box of a lad but its got a bit missing out of it at the back where one of the clips had snapped it off.. so it just about squashes the filter without letting dirt in the engine!
ive had to have this because ive got no other option!
i just need a good top half!
ive still got to buy a gasket and bolts for it and a clip is missing so a trip to the scrappers to get a few of them!
i'll have to put tape on it just to make sure........ and try and either get another top half box or a box or another k&n!
fcuking insurance is due next week........
ive had a head ache all day...
ive got some type of black oily dirt on the stair carpet and the carpets are new!
nothings going right i'm p***** off.........
ive had enough!
