Car came with originals, they corroded after about 2 months, replacements lasted about 9 months and then they started to corrode
had them replaced again
now got a set that aren't too bad, they are still corroding but its not anywhere near as bad as it was.
the even worse bit is, when i had my wheels replaced they put the same tyres on that i had and they started to lose pressure. not much about 2-3psi a week. And they said that it was common to all bbs wheels.
Anyway i took the car down to bathwick tyres and they said the clown that had put the tyres back on at the stealership had not removed the grit from wheel rim so thats why they leaked. Anyway they are on there now and don't leak!
While I'm on about crap dealers, mum took her polo (2001 - 22k on the clock) down to the local stealership to have an MOT and service done, they charged her ?200 for the service and failed the MOT saying that her brake pads were down to the metal. And they wanted ?276+VAT to change the pads and discs.
I got the car home and jacked it up, took the pads and discs off and replaced them. The discs were slighyly scored but there was a good 5-6mm of pad left. Lieing little ****. When i went back? to give the technician a bollocking, he was conviently not there.
I think my local stealership are just that. A bit of little old lady syndrome and we can take anyone for a ride!
