cheers i know know for sure it is
i wasnt sure so i went to the scrappy to pull a passat apart so i did do any expensive damage to my golf.

when the timing belt is changed, does the chain have to be done aswell?
mine has covered 132k and i want it to stay working
how much does this cost to be done?

i wont be driving it for a while but i will be getting it all sorted before i do drive it :D

theres a list already .

theres plants growing in the seal or the sunroof
theres spot rust on the roof, bonnet, near fuel cover, bootlid
theres rust on batterey tray chasis legs lower arms, rear beam and front crossmember
engine has a few wire that arent connected to anythihng  ??? but it still runs
power steering squeels when revved and has a small leak i think
bootlock is completely mullered
and central locking needs some attention
the bump strip on drivers door needs re-fixing
and general servicing timing belt oil plugs etc
and the fuel pipes are rusty
i think i need a new water pump/thermostat? not sure

and the temp gauge doesnt work

theres more but thatll do for now lol

oh its mot'd and cost ?500-you get what you pay for

i didnt want to track race a future classic so i picked one that wasnt the best/high spec

are you keeping them or changing them? i dont think i have seen any like that on a dub. they remind me of the type you see on vitara's and the like.
