fuel problem
« on: 16 November 2009, 16:10 »
i have a mk2 16v its a new project and i cant get it to run. The fuel seems to get to the fuel distributor and then not down to the injectors. Has anybody had the same problem? and how was it rectified?

is it an engine conversion or a std 16v?
I had this on my 16v, turned out to be a blocked fuel filter. worth a go!  check for fuel leaks under the car while you're there.

If its a conversion, has it got the correct k-jet fuel pump on there? the digifant one isnt man enough for the job.

You may find small gauze filters fitted on the banjos, they could be blocked.
