VW's leather is fine when new, unfortunately it doesn't age well in my experience. The Nappa leather in the Touareg was alright though.

This is me comparing it to the quality of the leather I have in my other car, also my wife said it felt artificial and was not overally impressed, and of course had the final word.

We have part leather on the edition 30, not sure why they don't offer this on the GTi mk6, as its best of both worlds. I personally think the leather option is to dull, if it had red stiching it might look better. And the price is a big off put for me, I wouldn't even pay that price for a sofa in the home.
