grrrrr bloody chugg chugg
« on: 14 November 2009, 17:08 »
hey all,

my girlfriend has got a problem with her car, it's a mk2 rocco but it's got a golf mk2 digifant motor in it with a k&n filter on it, and it's being a real pain in the ass.

when your going along it chugs a lot, if you put ur foot down to like overtake it's fine, also when it's idling the revs are everywhere, but the worst time is when your in traffic and driving slow, it judders and chugs like hell and it's been doing it so much it dun the moutings in nearly.

ive change the lifter pump, petrol pump, filter, coil, leads and plugs and also stuck a load of redex in it to clean injectors, ive chekced for air leaks around the manifold gaskets and nothing there, now ive ran out of ideas.

any suggestions would be greately accepted

someone help me!!!!!!! ..lol

cheers, cel

replace the ecu temp sensor, its either a screw fit white or push fit & clipped in blue depending on age of engine. look at the coolant flange on the front of the head, its in there.
