Anyone got any pics of a relativley standard tornado red mk2 big bumper model with colour coded arches and bumper strips, im tempted as the black and blue golfs withthis done looks super fresh but not too sure about red would look any good or not!

In my sig is a fairly standard Golf, but with original colours except the mirrors, which I have colour coded. I think colour coding the black parts on darker coloured cars works well, but on lighter or louder coloured cars, its just too much.

Yeah, i agree, i saw all red colour coded bumpers on a mk2 the other day somewhere and couldn't quite make out why it looked ugly - then it dawned on me. i think it cheapens the look in my opinion

Although I have had a poster on my wall from a 97 issue of max power with a baby blue rallye for years. Its all colour coded apart from the black splitter. Looks brilliant

Although I have had a poster on my wall from a 97 issue of max power with a baby blue rallye for years. Its all colour coded apart from the black splitter. Looks brilliant

right i think i'll be saving that mod for a helios blue mk2 when i own one, and i will own one!

in the meantime while everybodys sig has a nice red golf, heres mine!

Really? What engine was actually in it? One of my mates came round last night who aint been in my room before and the first thing he commented on was that poster. I think I can remember reading the issue on it when I was about 10 or something and I'm sure I was reading about it having two engines with hydraulic clutches so it was a nightmare to plumb it in for the clutches to engage at the same time.
