Every time I see a set of xenons coming towards me I want to take the driver, screw his head off, and stuff it down his windpipe.

ha ha ha nice thread... If I had a choice and money and purpose was not an issue including delivery times, I would have gotten the following specs:

Candy White - You only live once
Xenons - To blind Rolfe
5 doors - Kids
18" Monzas - To be different than Rolfe
Park Distance - For the women drivers
Rear Camera - To impress my mates
RNS510 - To deafen me and to find myself around
Dynaaudio - To help me go deaf
Lux Pack - Need to fold the damn side mirrors
Winter Pack - To warm my arse...
DCC - To pamper the car
Cloth seats - Leather is too difficult to maintain...

The xenons make the front look more aggressive compared with halogens.

Well, seeing the damn things come towards me makes me feel quite aggressive, so you may have a point there.  I think it's the ones where the driver, having dipped the lights (to just almost-blinding) then miscalculates the switch-on point and gives me a blazing eyfull just before our cars pass who annoy me most.

But they're all offensive.

Thnx, D - how do Xenons alter the look of the front of the car

I think Xenons are a must, Looks, Visability, They turn with the steering and they do a cool dance when switched on, up/down  side/side

Would that be why many people (including me) sat they don't feel a huge difference when switching between normal and comfort (for example)?  Because the car is tending to go there anyway, when road conditions are appropriate for the comfort setting?

Have heard some non-scientific evidence recently that the ACC dampers work much better when fully bedded in. Mate with a Passat CC mentioned that he thought his ACC was broken when compared to the 12 month old demonstrator he test drove.

where are the xenons in the pic?
Where did you get the wheels - order them as part of spec when you ordered the car?

 The xenons are the complete headlight units, normal headlights look totally different
The wheels are from VW Racing not ordered with the car

James, look at the front of my car and compare the shape of the Neils, can you see all of the internals of the headlamps have a completely different shape? The Xenons look more pointy and 'grrrr''!!!

I really think you need to go back to the dealership and spend all day there comparing cars/lights/gearboxes and make that list!
