New to VW
« on: 12 November 2009, 19:46 »
Hi, Have just registered so thought id say hi and write up a little info.

I have just bought a 1999 1.8 GTi 20v on ebay which i will be picking up this weekend. This will be my first vw but have owned many a different of cars. some of the common ones are

-1992 PUG 205 GTi
-1997 BMW 316i Coupe
-1998 PUG GTi-6
-1996 BMW 328i M
-1999 PUG GTi-6 again
-1998 Suzuki GSX-R 600 (summer toy)

And now the golf. The idea was something that i liked but practical enough to be a family car.

Is there anything that i need to look out for when i pick it up?

Cheers

Darren

Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?
