G60 Steel wheels
« on: 12 November 2009, 16:40 »
I like the look of the G60 steel wheels, however I feel that the 6x15 with the 35mm offset is not enough.

Is anyone running custom steel wheels, in 7 or 7,5 ?

With banded steels they either need to be done properly by someone with public liability insurance, or not at all.

Heh - front driven wheels narrower than rear non-driven wheels.  Functionality FAIL.

Something the weight/power of a Golf shouldn't need more than 7j anyway. Plus better to have understeer than oversteer on a fwd car.

Wide wheels belong on the rear

My mistake, I must have missed the first post where he said the offset wasn't enough for his dragster
