Guy Fawkes Night !! - Ash
« on: 06 November 2009, 12:10 »
Ello all, frickin guy fawkes night last night was a pain in the ass. Got up this morning, nothing but soot and ash bits on the roof of the car, on the bonnet and some at the sides which was all sitting on the car because of the wet weather and water on the car.

Only protection I have on this is 1 coat of wax, am I ok to leave this for a day before washing the crap off ? Also, what kind of damage does the firework stuff do ?

Dude, relax. You've detailed the car - it's now protected!

Just wash the car (2BM), rinse, dry and apply another layer of wax. No need for claying or polishing, so shouldn't take as long as previously.
