I've ran 17's and just find them to be a pain, may look good to some people but I think it's all about smaller wheels and the down low Personal opinion naturally

16's work fine, mine are 6j and 7j I run 205 45 16 tyres.

It's on standard 14" BBS (at least i think theyre standard, or off a BMW) at the moment with 185 / 60 tyres, im not sure how much the car has been dropped , but the arch just sits pretty much in line if not a little over the tyre, it's quite low. I was looking at getting a set of 16" lenso BSX with a 45 profile tyre with a little bit of stretch (on a budget and cant afford a set off BBS splits

I've got 16's on mine with 195-40-16 Tyres looks awsome and there's no rubage even on full lock,don't do 17's IMO it ruins the character or the car in terms of how it drives,altho I do have 8x16s so do have to be a little carefull when throwing the car round corners due to not wanting the Tyres to come off the rims!
