Hi,

Picked up my 57 plate GTI on Thursday and have already racked up a few hundred miles.

Black, 3 door, DSG, leather, with 18" alloys, although not the standard Monzas. I think that they may be called shadow line, but not certain. Dark grey, similar pattern to the Monzas but painted rather than polished alloy.

I will post some pictures when I get round to it, but any help with the name of the wheels would be appreciated.

I had a new Golf GT TDI in '02 for a couple of years and moved on to a BMW 330D sport which I have just part ex'd against the Golf. Enjoying being back in a Golf again.

Already found loads of useful info and think that I may be making a visit to the dealers to have a look at the DSG lurch in 1st gear that is on a few of the postings that I have read.

Thanks,

G
