Hello everyone
    This my first posting and regarding delivery dates I can empathise with every one despairing at the long wait for their cars. I ordered a GTI 5door tornado red, only option cruise control as I have it on my mk5  GTI and use it all the time. Order placed 12th september09, told around  6 months which Ithought then was a heck of a long wait.
 Last week informed delivery now late April.
Incidentally am I one of the oldest GTI owners, I'm 67?

If I am healthy enough I would love to drive a GTI when I am 67 so I take my hat off to you.
Cant for the life of me understand why VW can’t cope with the orders. Think build dates also come down to dealer allotments. Im told I will get my car last week in March first week April. Personally I cant see it going by the feed back on here.

Obviously BW02 was a complete fantasy, Now Build Week 8, which I think is next week, delivery some time March, yay............6 month wait will be complete if so! :tongue:

Thats good mate, did they say when in march? I've just gone confirmed BW07 too bit haven't spoken to the dealer, they left a voicemail the other day.
