Went to my dealer today and put my foot down  :smiley:
Ordered a new GTI; manual, 5-door, Tornado Red, 18" Detroit wheels.

Build date will be around week 14.

As anticipated I have just heard that the build week has moved to BW07 (arent they all) with delivery 1st week in March.

Incredibly frustrating but what can you do?  Have to stick with it.

Well I queried my order for my GTD today and guess what the dealer hasn't even ordered it yet.  He gave me some bull about they haven't be allocated any slots for GTDs since I ordered it on the 29/10/09.  Likely hood of getting in March ZERO.  Likely hood of getting it this year (2010) maybe.  I am absolutly mad.  asked about the VAT told no way I am getting it at 15%.  What about my trade in price, well we will have to revisit that.

Currently on hold with VW customer service 28mins and counting. Fury building.

That really is shocking, but from what i've seen on here, i'm not surprised. Not sure when my dealer ordered mine, but he says it's ordered and i suppose we are all in their hands until you finally see the car in the flesh.
