Seeing we are now in a new month and many of us have ordered new cars in the past quarter, perhaps a new topic is appropriate to keep tabs on who's getting what and when.

Now, I know I'm going to be hyper-jealous with all you guys ordering R's and others getting dealer allocation / builds weeks well ahead of me, but as others have posted, the wait will be worth it.

Dont be naive enough to think that there is only 500 coming to this country. U think if they sell 500 at £35,000 a pop there wont be another boat full making its way over faster then u can sip your morning coffee?

Very true!!  It was supposed to be a limited run of 1500 and ended up being in excess of 2300 (UK only!)
I got my numbered plaque in the post the weekend after my car was written off

The dealer release is worded such that it's not a strictly limited run:
"As we expect production volumes for 2010 to be approximately 500 cars..."

Is that 500 in total... or 500 Golfs and 500 Roccos? It's deliberately vague.

Oh, and a numbered plaque would be nice for the R.
