it shouldn't be touching it. i'll take a photo of mine to show you where it sits. It's possible the jubilee clip on the bottom has slipped and twisted slightly. Easiest way round that is to take the airbox lid off (disconnect maf) and see if there is any movement.. if not you'll have to nip under the car and slack the jubilee clip off a touch and twist it from the top till it's sitting right.

that would be great, think mine needs adjusting then although it shouldn't be too bad with an uprated breather hose.
