Milltek too loud

Just fitted a milltek system to my car, it is too loud i think, the only reason i brought it was because people told me that it was quiet.
it is second hand so do you think maybe the silencers are fu*ked?

does anyone else have a milltek fitted to their car?

honistly it sounds like a jap car, ill try n get a video tommorow.

Is it a pipe replacement without dampening?

its got both the silencers, i no that the decat will make it sound different but not this load i dnt think, there isnt really any vids of a milltek system on a mk3 so its hard to tell if it is supposed to sound like that, sounds tingy.

decat can make it loud mate, when i put my cat back on for MOT exhaust goes really quiet

may be the decat mate!
the mini was an asbo machine when there was no cat on it!
butwhen it went back it was normal grunty!
maybe a decat just isnt right with the system you have got??
