Which petrol for MK4 1.8 20vt, APR remap stage 1 done @ Awesome

As title. My car has a Stage 1 map (APR remap) done at Awesome, but it was done by the previous owner and I've no receipt for it...

I was wondering which fuel is best if anyone knows? I know some maps are written for 95 ron apparently, some for 98 etc..

Just wondered peoples takes on it? I don't wanna do any damage either way... so which is best folks?

Or settle for 98<

vpower or other 'super' petrols will be fine with whichever map you have, although you'd get more gains if you have the appropriate map for that fuel

if its the other way round, and you have the high octane map but are using crap fuel you'll be missing some performance as the ecu adjusts for knock

I'll have to try find a bit of time in the day to contact Awesome to see if they can advise what maps on there from it's reg...

Anyone else with an APR map done there who knows more about it?

I used to have a stage 1 seat ibiza cupra. Stage 1 was a 95Ron map iirc but fine to run on 98ron - i did run it on 98 myself as i thought it ran a bit better (but suspect it may have been imaginary!). Stage 2 is 98Ron for APR maps.
