new pads and discs again!!!

for my mk 2 gti!

november last year i had the ate power discs and pagid pads since then ive had
ferrodo pads
textar
pagid
ferrodo! that 5 sets and my discs are now fcuked!

my discs have lasted 10,000 miles and some of the pads lasted 1000mile some over 2000!

ive got zimmerman standard discs and pagid pads!
pretty good bite on them...........
lets hope they last this time!

the first discs were on 6 years! i dont know what make them were! i dont heavy brake all the time so dont know why i'm eatting pads! probibly because there are either speed ramps, mini roundabouts, or junctions and new traffic lights!

i replaced all the pads myself i'd dread to think what a garage would charge!it would be ?600 or something like that!

is anyone else having pad eatting problems!

LOL, do you drive around with the brakes on? maybe your pads are made from chocolate?

Im looking at the whole breaking side of my car at the moment, Could id be that your breaks have siezed and thats why there wairing out so much?

reminds me, mine need doing along with the rear calipers. sticking to VAG parts

the pistons on the calipers go in normal............
all wheels go round easy with brakes off etc.............

ive only had this problem while i had the ate pwer discs......

if theses zimmer man fcuk em up quick i'll let you know!

i think they were far too harsh on the pads!
