my poor alloy ...

i have curbed one of my front alloys ,driving down a road up comes this bloody big lorry so i turned on to the curb so it could get past ,some how the alloy hit the monster curb ....its only a little mark but i am not happy :cry:

Gutted to hear that.  Any badness with steering/alignment etc?
I did the same in my old 306 to avoid a kamikaze bus driver.  Hit the curb and felt like the car launched about 6 foot in the air and tyre went KA-BOOM!  That scuffed up alloy with new tyre was consigned to spare cage.
My right of way too!!!   :angry:

no it was very slow just pulled on to the curb bit of a bang ,dont know how it got the alloy i might need more air in the tyres as they have only got 32 psi in the front tyres :undecided:

That's lucky, worth a refurb or wait 'til the nice weather again?

32psi is correct pressure, any harder and you'll balloon the tyre and wear it across the middle!

iv touched it up with black paint, looks ok hard to notice it ...the mark was only the size of a wood pig right on the lip (edge of the alloy) i was very lucky .. :shocked:
