Loosing boost 1st 2nd and 3rd
« on: 28 October 2009, 00:30 »
So im loosing boost in first second and third. forth will hit 18Psi in 4th and 5th, but when under acceleratio the rest of the gears will spike up to around 12psi then drop to as low as 5psi! (especially 1st)

Current mods are
its a 1999 AGU 1.8t
Remap - not any type/brand you would have heard of as im from the mighty English colony of New Zealand
Forge 007DV Yellow Spring
Forge DV relocation pipe
Forge Turbo inlet pipe
ECS n75  Race Freq vavle

the yellow spring should be enough to hold up the boost, i read that switching the DV piped around can help fix any DV boost leaks, anyone done this?

anyone had this problem before? possible solutions?
its hard to get professional help here as everyone drives Jap cars. Go the Mk4!

Get it scanned for fault codes, see if any of the common ones come up?  Likely just a bust hose somewhere....  :undecided:

As said get it scanned first. Boost leak or faulty N75 valve  :undecided: :undecided:
