What is it with your observation skills? 

Anyone changed their mats yet ? and if so do you have any pictures of them,preferably with gti on them and in red text.

He has said in a previous thread that HIS CAR CAME WITH GTI MATS was very proud of the fact,i may not be that observant but i have a long memory

Was that car supplied with the life hammers and if so why not UK purchased cars too?

I was not very proud about having the mats since I thought you would all have it as standard... I was just happy that I had them.  And yes the lifehammers were already installed when I picked up the car.

– Carpet mats, front and rear with red edging
– Leather trimmed three-spoke steering wheel with
GTI logo and red stitching

I asked the dealer about this a few weeks ago and they are going to change the brochure as the UK don't get this spec of mat.
