just recieved some calipers today.. pretty p!ssed of that the packaging is ripped and has oil all over it  :angry:

is it safe to jet wash the calipers?? or are they meant be oiled or greased whatever  :undecided: stupid q i know but never messed around with calipers  :rolleyes:

am i right in saying i need japlac paint to paint them red? also what laquer do i need

they are already painted red but its a proper crap job and its flaked  :sick:

also what paint should i use heard about something called japlac a while ago on here cant seem find it up on search now  :undecided:

heres what i used nav and still had some left to after painting all four http://www.foliatecshop.co.uk/caliperpaint/
and just added some extra laquer after painting using some of the halfords stuff  :wink:

£25 bit steep ... thought could get a paint tin for like £5  :lipsrsealed:  :laugh:

gonna pop down to halfords and see how much hammerite is.. if its ruffly same then ill jus buy the £25 foliateshop one  :wink:

Think I picked up my hammerite for about £7 and theres is loads left over for another day / project.
