Have a look at the price of these second hand MKVI's. Any one tempted to sell and make a profit.

Rip off :angry:.  £35k for a GTi!! .Not likely to sell those for a year at least at that price.

How do they work the prices out of the mk6???

Cheaper to build, quicker to build, less complicated suspention setup, and they are asking 10-15% hike in premium over and above a near same car??

Good old supply and demand. That is taking the p1ss though  :shocked:

Got to keep the shareholders happy... they want to see profit and growth, growth, growth! The suspension is the same by the way, they just reduced the cost of manufacturing the parts.

You try selling a car privately for anything near what a dealer wants and you'll wait an awful long time for a buyer.

Supply and demand is one thing but no MkVI is going to fetch a premium.
