WIERD GOINGS ON?????

OK i know it's not a golf or a gti, but my 2.0 tdi Touran is driving me nuts! and i thought you clever lot might be able to help!

My touran got reversed in to while i was walking my dog 6 weeks ago, went into main dealer for repairs which from a cosmetic point of view are very good! BUT!! since picking the car up 10 days ago we have gone into limp mode twice, 1 headlight stopped working for half hour then came back on:confused: checked connection and was plugged in correctly, then the same with a fog light, checked and again plugged in correctly, then a few more days passed and had a flat battery in morning, called AA  who checked everything and found nothing? battery excellent and alternator charging ok, ok untill yesterday and battery flat again, now the fans are coming on even when car has not been being used? now the emmisions light has come on?
Called AA again and the guy who turned up was VW trained and said he susspected the body control module had been damaged in the knock:confused: he checked the battery and alternator again and found all to be ok!
It is going back to the dealer saturday, any one got any thoughts or suggestions?

Sounds to me like the main controller unit has been damaged. A few guys have suffered this issue on here and the symptoms sound quite typical of that fault. Take it to the dealer if it is still in warranty (if not a reasonable VAG independant) and get it checked out.

Perhaps there is someone in your area with a VAGCOM willing to help, would also give you some insight!
