hi r tech i am going to go for the ko4 upgrade on my mk4 1.8t golf aum 2001 moddle how much power am i looking at getting and will i need to change any inturnel bits in the engine with the map?

You can't just wack a KO4 turbo on and off you go. There are several internal bits like the manifold (cant remeber the rest, have a search in the MK4 section using the search button) that you need to change and its a resonably expensive mod.
What sort of budget have you got to do all these upgrades?
A KO4 with extra bits your looking at 250+ easy.

i know that its not a str8 fit but have been told that i can do it for around 1k to 1.5k so ye.
just trying to find a kit to do it or im gona have to find the audi tt that the bits will fit str8 on but i dont know what tt it is yet lol.

Hello,
you will need custom down pipe, 4 bar fuel deliverym pump, fpr, injectors, 3"maf and your looking at 250-275bhp 280-300lbft. The engine as a whole is good for 300bhp+, they start to bend rods close on to 350bhp+
