agreed, much preferred the old one, not sure what the benefits of new one is, apart from being slower to react, or quicker to go wrong. progress eh!

And they lost all of my old searches!  I agree, they seem to have taken a step back.
Current:

Gone:
2016 A6 BiTDI - Midnight Blue / Black
2016 Golf GTD with a "lot" of toys

Main dealer car with 500 miles on iot, 14 week waitign list, so why not ask list price for somethign you have on the forecourt ?

Bet you could get £2.5k off that price, or a very favourable trade-in  :nerd:

It just seems madness, used too, probably a demonstrator ragged from the 1st mile

its called supply and demand.  they're not making the gti's fast enough compared to the amount that is being ordered.  why most ppl have to wait 40 odd wks.  because lots of ppl want one and few new available means they can hike up the prices.  it is exactly like when the bmw mini's first came out.  i was lookin second hand and they were pricier than new.   so hyperthetically speak one could of bought a mini and sold it at a profit- at that time it was high demand.   similar to gti's now.  vw second search only had 2 last time a checked online- back in august and they weren't cheap either.
