Yeah if you look under the car the wishbone mounts are pretty much the lowest point other then the sump/exhaust which would vary on models I'd assume.

Decided that after 4 weeks of not cleaning, and seeing several people being pulled over last night for not being able to read the numberplate, I thought I had better take the matte black coating off :embarassed:

Only gave it a quick going over, but much better.

I hope to make a bit more progress in 2011

I saw several people last night being done because their numberplates couldnt be seen, so I was pretty paranoid about it as you couldnt see it at all at night lol, the numberplate lights werent even showing through the dirt!

Just clean it dude, will make you feel better

How are the LM reps lasting in the salty/wintery roads btw? I want some but unsure how the lacquer lasts? :undecided:

Im driving down to Brighton this afternoon so it will get filthy, ill flip a coin over washing her tomorrow lol

LMs, so far so good. Not had any problems with them. They aren't diamond cut polished lacquered (I think that's the word?) like the Monza 2 so shouldnt suffer too bad as long as you keep them reasonably clean.

I prefer your new ones mate! Haha, yeah I expect mine will be dirty as soon as I move it :( Sucks this time of year!

Erm got a few things I want to get/do.

Paying off my credit card over the next few months, so nothing will be happening then, but around june/july time I want to source an S line front bumper and the newer shape bonnet so that I can get those on in August when I get a private plate for my bday (bit gay, but will look like a newer model then, say what you like.. lol)

So that would sort the front end really, then I would like a new rear bumper, as my one is fooked! Along with new rear lights and some light rear tints.

Very expensive list really, so won't be happening anytime soon, but I'd like to think I can do it over the next year  maybe.. lol I'm bored of it now though, so recon I will get an uprated clutch of some sort put in and a remap, but I have no idea what order any of this will get done in! Theres so much I want to do, but its all pretty expensive and for a car that now has almost 105k on the clock, it seems pretty pointless... haha

Aha get it washed tomorrow mate! Meant to get cold again next week so you know damn well it wont get done then :P

Ah sweet, im rubbish with keeping wheels clean! Wouldn't mind changing wheels next year, but will see how long it takes me to do the above list of things first
