Thanks dude, my mate said that as well so I will probably do that before I even fit them, hopefully they won't poke more than that though!

  Nah I will only be doing them silver again, only going to be a stop-gap over winter hopefully then will get something else in 6 months or so.

Think they will look too small with the tyres i've gone for though, need to find out what the normal tyres size for an A3 on 18's is really to see!

Should be on at the weekend assuming I can get the tyres fitted at the weekend, then time for MOT and then i'll worry about attempting the refurb

Yeah did think about going for a graphite type colour like the RS4's that come with black editions.. but not sure if it would make it too stealthy, and im a fan of bright rims rather than dull, blendy in type lol

Will see how the patching up goes with the curbing first off, then decide once thats done

And yes, i'm like the harry potter of it though, its at the point where it starts to hurt when I even just think of things such as silly colour wheels

Fairly sure they are 7.5J hence the 225 tyres

Guess we shall see what happens, going to see if my usual guy can fit them but if not then I think I know a place that can! Just gotta hope I get a lax MOT tester who won't pull me up for 'tyres incorrectly fitted' or something

Lol, well you seen the state my car has been in and the missus didn't mind. She can have her opinion, but its my car and my decision.

Yea I know what you mean its just effort to bother now lol Plus she lives in quite a posh area, think if i had bright pink wheels then i might stand out a bit too much amongst range rovers, merc's, jags and M3's lol would devalue the place, plus i'd feel like a bit of a plonker Need serious kahonos to pull it off, and big respect to those who can/do!
