My car is an April 08 build and within a few thousand miles was experiencing all the symptoms described here including a jerk when taking off in 1st and reverse and a kangarooing action in first and reverse. I took it in to the dealers and they replaced the entire gear box and all has been OK for 14,000 miles since.

Got mine back yesterday (that's the quickest six weeks I can remember!)

Running an absolute dream, didn't realise just how 'lurchy' it was  :smiley:

Felt like it with a 1.4 engine in the courtesy car I can tell you!
