Best dial kits, whats your opinion
« on: 20 October 2009, 18:07 »
Ok, so i have my Vr6 dials on the way for my conversion.

And the standard set up is so drab and boring, im going to change the leds to blue ones shing on the dials, and the displays to red. As i think that looks best.

But what dial kit should i get for the gauges?

I know everyone screams about the dub design industries ones, but what else is out there that you think is cool?

I have seen some nice carbon ones on a VR6 for sale on ed38, but cant find them online.

Suggest me some cool stuff! Cant  be that hard to  make custom ones either i presume?

I had actually considered this a while ago, swapping the dash out etc.

What dials from a mk4 would i use though? So the rev gauge works, 4motion maybe.

Hmmm dash swaps are hassle.

I put these on mine, cheap enough and just looked a little different.

Not the best pic of them but you get the idea.

It was a guy off the bay selling them for £20 posted. You could choose the logo on the dial as well

They are nice, especially with the chrome rings around

Mine weren't white, they were silver but it doesn't really show in that picture. The black was a sort of graphite grey
