will a boss off other golfs fit a mk3 ??

I think a large spline Mk2 one will fit but other than that, no

And take care when taking wheel off, disconnect battery for 10 minutes at least.

I unplugged my warning light and then covered the panel in black vinyl so nobody would ever know it was there lol

And also when I changed my steering wheel I never disconnected the battery at all so depends how brave you are. I just couldn't be bothered to tune my CD player in again, only reason I left my battery connected!
