Well, I started work on the sump yesterday. Everyone like pictures so...why not...
Axel stands, not an unusual sight.

The welder was out, as I had one sump bolt where the head had rouned off. I had tried everything! Bigger allen keys hammered in. Weld an allen key to it - that failed.....Out came the trusty dremel. I seem to have a habit of cutting sh!t up to remove it? haha

New R32 oil pump and pick up on:

The plastic baffle needs to be modded to get the dip stick in the right place. The r32 dipstick is located about an inch to the right. I didn't manage to get a photo of the finished product, but, basically, cut a nice healthy hole just to the left of the bolt, where the original dipstick hole is

I am looking to get a sump guard fabricated for me, as I didn't manage to get a plate welded to the bottom.
I think i will also see If I can get away with hockey pucking all of the mounts, as the sump still sits just below the subframe.
Semi successful, if extremely expensive. It cost me just over 280 quid to do the whole thing!
