Ello all, New to all this GTI malarky...
« on: 19 October 2009, 11:28 »
Ello all,

Well after 9 years of riding motorbikes on the road, and the fact of having a 1year old terror known as my Son, I decided its time to get 4 wheels and a roof, mainly for transporting nipper around and getting the shopping in (can only carry so much shopping on a bike )

This doesn't mean my bikes are taking a back seat, still riding my GSXR 1000K4 as my daily commuter (156 rwhp + 86lbft of torque, with a dry weight of 168 kg (370 lbs) it's not shy ) My YZ 426F Motocrosser, GSXR 750 streetfighter which I shoehorned a GSXR 1100 (1127cc Slingshot motor) engine into it, Just sold my GSXR 400 ...

So, back to the car!

Passed my theory back in Febuary, Bought a Mk4 GTI Turbo, and have practical test booked for mid November....

Be nice to pass then, as being the grand old age of 25, I'm due a winter off from riding to work at 5am, with a stinging face and purple knuckles are only funny for the 1st 5 mins

So, I bought the car roughly about a fortnight ago, since then all I've done to it is fit a Newsouth off centre pod, boost gauge, Forge Splitter and a Carbonio cai and thats it!

In the advert, the pics didnt really show up the white wheels(or I wasn't really paying that much attention lol), but they've kinda grown on me now... White 18" RS6's...mmmm....

Iv'e been lurking on this site for a while now, so thought I'd say Hello!

Just be prepared to bollock me for non searched newbie Q's

Here she is...

Ps. I know this is a Golf forum, But couldn't resist lol

Welcome

Cheers dude,

Being a Somerset man, can you recommend any local-ish Remap+chip centres?

Ello matey,

Touch wood, I've not had that many close shaves...as for the law got chased the other week.

Was riding to work early a.m., not long fitted a Titanium Racefit Slash exhaust to it (absolutely f**k all to it, sounds like a drag bike, you can just about see it in the pic I put up)

Not that proud of it, but needless to say I evaded them successfully

What were you riding at the time bud?

hey, welcome to the forum  guessing you like you're Gixxers  love that streetfighter you've got! looks ace. I'm just on a honda cbr 125r just now, it's a riot though! can't wait to get a bigger bike soon.
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?
