It's back out now but it has a water and oil leak so I can't use it instead of the Polo.

Well it's booked in for Friday. Borrowing the wife's car tomorrow and sponging a lift of a co-worker on friday.

Was OK in my old job as I could just get the train but new place is in the middle of nowhere and to use public transport I would have to get 2 trains, 2 buses and walk 4 miles which would take about 3 hours each way!!!!!!

Everything checked over. Needs a side light bulb but I got the wrong ones from Halfords. Plonka. Will swap them tomorrow and sort that.

As for the tyres they're a bit worse than I thought! Passenger side front wouldn't have past and drivers side is a close call. Have slung the passsenger front wheel off the golf on it for it now, it rubs a bit on full lock as the et is different but I'll let the garage know it's a temp wheel as I had a "puncture" in the morning. Hopefully that'll get it through.

Best get on Camskill and order two new front tyres to be fitted next week sometime!

Failed.

1 front flexi pipe which is OK but apparently it has a major exhaust leak somewhere at the front. That sounds expensive!!!!

Waiting to hear back on a full diagnosis of the exhaust.
