I've had this problem wth my 16v kr for some time but I've now narrowed it down to a electrical ignition problem.
When I go to strat the car in the morning or after its been sat for some time it won't start. I've taken out a plug and I get no spark.
It turns out if I leave the ignition turned on so the lights on the dash are on for about 2 mins then turn the car I get a spark and it starts.
I don't need to keep turning the engine over for this to work, just have the ignition on. I've replace the leads some about 4 months ago with some decent leads plus I'm not getting a spark on any cylinder.
Once the car is started it runs absolutely fine.
This leads me to believe that it must be either the coil or the distrbuter, does this sound about right?
What is it more likely to be before I go out and start spending money?
