Hey Nick, have you ever done one of these on a baby k03s before?
Would the map need tweaking to suit,or is it a case of trial and error

Hello,

Fitted 100s of Acuators & external wastes gates, but never a Forge one to a KO3s..

We will get it back on the dyno and do some external logging and map tweaks to make sure your getting the best from your car.

I am looking forward to getting it running spot on and boostinh right.

Nick

It runs pretty damm good now, just missing the extra few torques lower down.

Am i right in thinking that these uprated actuators allow the boost to stay high right up to redline,or would that be pushing the turbo beyond it's capabilities?

Setup wrong  and over tight they can strain the turbo, we need to aim for a setup the same as the oem setup.  We will use the tool which we tested the Forge 007p with to get it adjusted right.

After a conversation with Nick,it might be possible without removing the turbo after all.Charge pipe off and 3 bolts holing the turbo to manifold might just give enough room, fingers crossed......

If it's a full turbo off Job i think i'll wait another 3K and and do it then(new gaskets/oil/water/manifold bolts etc....)

Nicks going to try adjusting my std actuator first,if that gives good results it saves me money and his time.

I need to speak to Nick more on the day,but from what i can see well over 25psi can be had....
