As i only have one numberplate im not that fussed, However If i found a cool one i might be tempted, But for one bit of amber plastic i cant justifie it  :-\

is that true about the private plate has to have the same first letter as your original reg???  My mate said that but I thought it was a load of *****

No it doesn't have to have the same first letter at all, but it is not aloud to make the car look newer than it is.

So you couldn't have X123 DUB on a 1990 car but you could have A123DUB on it.

You can have any Irish plate on what ever the age i.e. ICE 1234

hmmm so if you have an old a reg mk 2 then your nackered cause you got to stick to an A plate?

no you can have a A B C D E F or G if your car is a G reg or any of the older type style plates

yeah you'd have to go to suffix plates to get some originality
