Youre not allowed to put a plate on that makes your car look newer. So you have to stick to J or older 

Careful when youre looking at other plate sites - my mate wanted to buy G1LBS, which was up for ?2799+vat plus a transfer fee. She actually bought it from DVLA for ?2999 all in, a saving of about 400 bar

Cheers speedy, I never knew that. Bit harsh tho eh? I mean no one can tell the reg from a private plate anyways, so why worry about 1st letter!!! lol
