Rubber care stick
« on: 16 October 2009, 18:21 »
Went to my local stealers today to aquire a rubber care stick to try to cure some of the rattles on my new GTI and was told that it doesnt exist . The part number exists but according to the parts guy there's no price for it and none available in the warehouse.

Has anyone else had trouble trying to get one? and also ive got an annoying rattle from what seems to be around the interior lights above my head but cant seem to pinpoint it!

Just tried to order some myself from my local dealer they were helpful but could not find it.

I showed him a copy of a couple year old ETKA parts page i have, but he still could not find it.   :undecided:

Even when i showed him the photo of it. They tried and tried but could not find it  :undecided:

Anyone know if it is actually available in the UK ?

Agree with Snoopy

Autoglym rubber care spray will sort most problems very quickly.

Yes, the Autoglym is fine, but try some of this.
