just thought i'd say hello. Picked up my mk2 GTi couple weeks back and in the process getting it running after doing the head gasket

cheers bud., looking forward to getting it on the road always fancied a mk2. just trying to find the time to finish it, difficult with a 19mth old kid and a pregnant wife LOL  :rolleyes:

Sounds very familiar.

I also picked up a Mk2 GTI last weekend, have a 19 month old son and another on the way.
