Yes mate I binned the lot, I connected the pipe to the original elbow then straight to the tank (as per Pat's instructions over on uk-mkivs)

Having the forge actuator fitted and set up on the rollers,should give some interesting results.

kool kool i thought so, just wanted to make sure! I'v got a catch tank sitting at home that i am going to put on till mine and barrys saikoimichi ones come.  Its the type that you put a little oil breather filter on the top, dont know what affect that has?

just block that off mate, you don't want un-metered air being drawn through into the turbo or it will end up as lean as Barry's

Ahh i see! Cheers for that!  When you look into the inlet and outlets of the saikoimichi cans is it just basically a hollow bottle with two flush pipes sticking out the side or is there more to it?

i would say between 150-235 pound .... depend on age , condition and mileage . i saw ur sig before and ur car was producing 250ish bhp and i assume the turbo had a hard time during ur owner ..   

lol nuh my cars not 250bhp it just produced that at amd when they couldnt get the load right on the rollers. Anyone that knows me will vouch for the fact i look after it.

But anyway im not selling up yet was just curious cos i had no idea

catch cans work by having baffles in there that will be cooler than the vapour, it hits the baffles, cools and turns into liquid
